DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for a Custom Clearance Broker in Riyadh. You will be responsible to develop and administer customs and trade compliance plans and processes to provide clearance of freight documentation through the relevant customs authorities, work with customers to guide and advise on customs regulation qualifications in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines, and policies.

In this Custom Clearance Broker- Riyadh position
- You will be responsible to follow up for clearance & brokerage of shipments at airport/ seaport, import and export shipments.
- You will be responsible to arrange for port gate passes for transporters.
- You will be responsible to Communicate in a timely manner with office operation / transporters on shipment status.
- You will be responsible to update the office operation team into customs new rules, changes of processes.
- You will assist with Follow up with internal customs approvals, permits and any import/ export related documents within the customs area.
- You will attend the loading of shipments and report any damage or missing if any
- You will update the time stamps into DHL system (ESP)
Now, here’s what we need from you
- Certification in Custom clearance I a must
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the same field.
- Experience in customs system / EDI / Fasah.
- Superior MS Excel skills and very strong accounting literacy
- Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral.
- Solid knowledge of custom clearance documentation requirements.
- Deep knowledge of forwarding business.
- Strong problem-solving mentality.
- Experience in working with Saudi customs.
- Good knowledge of market.
- Good command of English and Arabic is a must.
