We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join the Customer Transactions team at our head office in Arendal, Norway.

The team supports the Underwriters in our offices around the world , engaging with clients and insurance brokers worldwide, as part of Gard's marine insurance activities.

You will be a key member of an experienced, vibrant and international team where your primary focus will be to:

  • Onboard customers

  • Respond to customer queries

  • Conduct KYC / sanctions checks

  • Enter and maintain client and broker information

  • Enter and maintain policy and premium data

  • Produce and distribute insurance and invoice documentation

  • Support Underwriting with various tasks

The new colleague we are looking for:

  • has a bachelor’s degree or similar relevant education and/or relevant experience

  • can work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven

  • is quick to learn systems, procedures and build cross-functional competence

  • has a structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail

  • is self-motivated and a team player with improvement mindset

  • has strong communication skills and cultural awareness

  • is positive and service-oriented

  • embrace change

  • a good command of spoken and written English is required.
